Patient Care Philosophy

“I understand that for many patients, a visit to the eye doctor can be cause for some anxiety or even stress. It is my responsibility to make the experience as pleasant and informative as possible. I care deeply about my patients’ vision and comfort, so I want to spend the time necessary to make sure that they understand their diagnosis and treatment plan. My goal is to work as a team with my patients to ensure the healthiest eyes possible.”

Dr. Schrack graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, with a degree in Neuroscience in 2003. She then attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where she obtained her medical degree in 2007. After medical school, Dr. Schrack completed her transitional medicine internship at Crozer Chester Medical Center, where she was named Intern of the Year. During her residency in ophthalmology at Temple University Hospital, she similarly distinguished herself as Chief Resident. Dr. Schrack concluded her training with a fellowship in cornea and anterior segment under the direction of Dr. Brandon Ayres and Dr. Irving Raber at Wills Eye Hospital. Her medical and surgical abilities were so outstanding that in 2015 Drs. Ayres and Raber invited her to join Ophthalmic Partners. She practices comprehensive ophthalmology with specific expertise in cataract and corneal surgery.

Dr. Schrack’s community recognition includes being named a Top Doctor in Ophthalmology in South Jersey Magazine in 2018, Top Doctors in Main Line Today in 2020, Top Doctors in Suburban Life Magazine in 2019, 2020, and 2021, and one of the 5-Star Physicians named in Suburban Life Magazine in 2019, 2020, and 2021.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Schrack continues to lecture and work with medical students from Jefferson Medical College and is an attending physician in the Cataract and Primary Eye Care department at Wills Eye Hospital supervising the training of ophthalmology residents. She is also on staff at Temple University Hospital.

Dr. Schrack is committed to staying on top of developments in cataract surgery, intraocular lens implants, and advances in the management of corneal disease. She treats every patient as an individual making sure they understand their medical issues and options and works with them to make the best recommendation for their needs.

In her personal life, Dr. Schrack is married to a sports medicine surgeon and is the proud, busy parent of three children.
